Cooking - Part 2

I do not know since when I have the passion to cook, to read recipe online, to read recipe on the magazine, newspaper. I see the way the expert cook and I just knew that I am thinking to learn it and taste it for the fun of the day!


Rojak!!
(i) Timun,
(ii) You Tiao from You Tiao Wang, Paya Terubong,
(iii) Jambu
(iv) Meng Kuang
(v) Rojak Paste(Buy in Pasar Malam, famous Ah Chye Rojak Liao).
The appearance is not so good, probably i didn't put the red jambu?



Asam Belai Tomyam Timun Prawn
This one I like the taste, a bit sweet, a bit soury, a bit spicy. I learnt it from Mum. The dish is very fragrant especially the from the tomyam.


Coca Cola Chicken
This is learnt from Qian and the online recipe.
Ingredients:
Chicken, Coca Cola, Soy sauce, sugar, Onion,Ginger, salt (to taste)

Directions:
(i) Put chicken in a bowl together with a little salt, and leave them for 15-20 minutes (or longer).
(ii) Put a little oil in the wok and cook ginger, onion with heated oil. Put the chicken into the wok too.
(iii) Turn down the fire, add cola (generally one can), sugar and soy sauce, and cook for 10 minutes. And then turn on the fire, add more cola. Wait until the sauce is thickened.

Tadaaaaa.....the coca cola chicken is very tasty oh... =)

Emm..looks good. I love the asam belai with tomyam timun, quite a special way of making this dish. Never try it before though. Share he recipe can?:)
